A statistic that I think says a lot about me:

The last time I got a prepaid refill for my phone was near the end of December of last year. My balance at that point was $112.

It's now $94, three months later.

$18 usage divided over 3 months is $6 a month, and at a rate of 10 cents a minute... I use my cell phone for maybe an hour a month.

I would go prepaid because I barely use my phone to actually talk to people (I used a whopping 64 minutes last month) but I did use 582 texts and 709 megs of data. Before that I used 474 texts and 473 megs of data (I should have used another hundred megs!).

Also, MOOK.

I barely use my phone to talk to people at all. The $6 of usage a month is all voice and nothing else.

For me, text messages are ten cents each, so 582 text messages would be $58.20. Which would mean hello, I'm an idiot for going on a prepaid plan like this. But I have no friends, so I don't have anyone to send text messages to, let alone anything to say!
