I've had a fake Facebook account for about a month and a half now. Fake name, no interests, nothing filled out whatsoever. I was curious to know whether Facebook does any filtering of unused accounts. Apparently not.

I wonder if they still insist on vetting every name change. (They clearly don't vet new account names, at least based on the fact my empty account still exists.)

Today I decided to shoot a certain mook a crank message. Except I couldn't find him. I'm somewhat amused to think that after all the privacy setting crap, it's now impossible for any FB refugee to reestablish themselves. Well, probably not.

Oh, and I got the opportunity to shoot a D3s for a little while. I'm not exactly sure about just walking around outside in the darkness with it, though...

It is possible to set a Facebook account to be unsearchable. I don't think they verify name changes, as I've seen some strange name changes from some of my friends.
